Taryn Phillips-Smith, BS, CT

Starting counseling takes courage, and I’m so glad you’ve taken this first step! Therapy can feel similar to cleaning out an old attic; dusty, uncomfortable, and sometimes you find things you forgot were there. But in the end, it makes space for something new. Whether life feels confusing, overwhelming, or unfulfilling, my goal is to help you reconnect with your power, rewrite your story, and reach your full potential. I’m committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel free to be your authentic self. Together, we will explore your experiences, emotions, thoughts, future goals, and current challenges to tailor the counseling experience to fit your individual needs. I believe counseling is not a “one-size-fits-all,” so I use integrative, evidence-based practices to support clients through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, identity exploration, multicultural issues, and trauma.
