Shirah Cohen-Tidd, Ph.D
From the moment my clients walk through the door, I strive to create an environment that is welcoming and safe. I believe it is important to create a space that is collaborative in order to address clients’ concerns, fosters their strengths, allow for self-exploration, and enhance overall wellness. I enjoy working with children to adults, with a specialty in children, adolescents, and families.
I am primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I take an active approach to discover how to best meet the client’s unique needs and empower individuals and families to promote change. When working with children, I work closely with parents to facilitate their child’s therapeutic progress and often utilize creative interventions. My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, disruptive behavior disorders, and trauma.
