Alexa McMahan, LPC
“Has life felt out of control and chaotic lately? Are you feeling detached from yourself and your relationships? I’m passionate about supporting clients as they navigate life transitions, including coping with the anxiety, depression, and relationship conflict that can accompany life changes. I enjoy working with clients as they process their past, and explore their values and identity in the present. As a therapist, I believe the counseling relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy. I strive to create a space that feels safe, trustworthy, and comfortable for my clients.
I work creatively and collaboratively with my clients, drawing on multiple modalities to help clients reach their goals. I’ve supported clients through various concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, life transitions, spiritual deconstruction, embodiment work, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and values and identity exploration.”
