Chelsea Kelligher, M.A., LPCC
I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at John Carroll University and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. I have worked in university counseling, community mental health, and private practice settings with adolescent and adult clients. In particular, I focus on working with adolescents (11+), young adults (18-25), and LGBTQ+ individuals. I am trained in client-centered therapy and strive to develop safe, genuine, and collaborative relationships with my clients. I also incorporate mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavior-informed therapies into my work with clients. I utilize a blend of acceptance- and change-based strategies to validate clients’ concerns and gently challenge clients to meet their therapy goals. I am looking forward to assisting clients in achieving meaningful change and personal growth throughout the therapeutic work together
