Emma Clayton, BA, CT

Hello! My name is Emma. I am a counselor in training at Kent State University. I believe children, adolescents, and adults need a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space to process and overcome the obstacles that life has thrown at them. Although I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Expressive Arts, and Mindfulness Therapy, I prefer to use a person-centered and integrated approach to meet clients where they are at. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and young adults facing concerns such as anxiety and depression. Whether you’re a parent looking for help with your kiddo, an adolescent struggling with a mental illness, or an adult looking for ways to grow, I am here to be a part of your process.
